Passed my element 2 today...

I passed my element 2 test today (got 100%!). I'll probably take the element 1 in a week or so. I overheard another applicant taking his and copied most of it from a distance...so I think I'm just about ready.

I'll post my call as soon as I get it.

    Congrats, David. Do you have any gear that you plan
    to put on the air when the ticket arrives? It will be
    a big day for you. If you go on VHF first, maybe ops
    located nearby will give you your first QSOs, and QSLs.
    They are things to hang onto to mark the occasion.

      I have absolutely ZERO Loren...LOL. I'm looking for gear to buy now so it'll be a while before I actually get on the air.

        Can anyone suggest an online source for used gear. I've been looking for things on Ebay but I thought there might be other sources that I didn't know about. Any suggestions?
