Well, Jim Haynie, W5JBP, has stepped down, which is sad in that of the previous 12 presidents of the ARRL, he was easily the most responsive and available.
The new president is Joel Harrison, who I've known a long time. He's a good old boy. And he used to have a mustasche.
But look at the picture here www.arrl.org/news/stories/2006/01/20/2/ and tell me he doesn't look a lot like Al Gore now.
I wish Joel luck. He will need it.
