      <title>New Tribe: Appropriate Use of Technology</title>
      <link>http://hamradio.tribe.net/thread/4ce9a098-e64d-46b0-a961-6a73fabf9f7a#01d4bebc-ae8f-4518-84d1-08c261dad7b6</link>
      <description>I hope you will all forgive me for popping in to promote a new tribe.  The tribe is called Appropriate Use of Technology.  &#xD;
&#xD;
We are addicted to technology. For all the hope that it holds out, though, so much of the technology that surrounds us is utter crap. I established the tribe as a place for the discussion of technology, its benefits, costs (both economic and social) as well as a place to praise or pan technologies that are well or poorly implemented.&#xD;
&#xD;
I feel that members of the ham radio tribe would be interested because of the technological tie-in.&#xD;
&#xD;
The tribe can be found at http://tribes.tribe.net/appropriate-tech&#xD;
&#xD;
Thank you.</description>
